Conveniently located downtown, the clean and basic room exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and the hotel had a student-like vibe. Free parking was a major bonus, making it a great deal for the price. Facilities included a gym, pool, and canteen with diverse dining options.

The hotel was incredibly clean and the building itself was in a quiet location. the staff were pleasant and accommodating, making the check-in process smooth. the location of the hotel was also a key advantage, as it was conveniently situated near various attractions and amenities. the price was reasonable and the room, although basic, was clean and met my expectations. the staff was able to provide a fan, although it didn't do much to cool down the room.
One major downside was the lack of air conditioning in the room, making it quite warm and uncomfortable. the windows needed to be kept open, but it was concerning that there were no screens, especially when traveling with a toddler who could easily access the window.

We had a great stay at Dalhousie University. The location was perfect for exploring the city, with quick access to the downtown area. The room was clean, quiet, and offered great value for money. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our visit to Nova Scotia a memorable one. Though there were a few surprises with the lack of kitchen supplies and shared bathroom, overall I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable and affordable stay. I will recommend this hotel.

The price of the residence was very affordable compared to other options. the newly renovated bathrooms were clean and modern. the calm area provided a peaceful atmosphere. Plus, the free parking was a great bonus!
The doors of the residence were quite noisy, which made it difficult to sleep when fellow guests were coming back. the location was a bit far from most attractions, as it was situated on the main campus rather than downtown.

I had a fantastic stay over Christmas at this hotel! The modern and super clean facility was a great place to relax and unwind. The staff at the front desk were incredibly warm and welcoming, even though we arrived late at night. They were also very accommodating. The breakfast included in our stay was plentiful, tasty, and nutritious. I particularly enjoyed the variety of options available. The location of the hotel was also key - it was conveniently located near all the attractions we wanted to visit. the free on-site parking was a great bonus.
While my stay was overall great, I did have a few minor issues. The staff at the hotel were not as welcoming or helpful as I would have liked.

My family and I recently stayed at Dalhousie University for three nights during our visit to Halifax. The staff at the front desk were amazing, always ready to assist us with anything we needed. They were available 24/7, which came in handy when our door closed in the middle of the night and they promptly provided us with a master key. The daily whiteboard in the lobby displaying the weather and Halifax festivals was a unique touch that my daughter absolutely loved. The dining room staff were incredible as well, offering a great selection of food at reasonable prices, including many gluten-free and dairy-free options. The cleanliness of the rooms and the entire building exceeded our expectations. The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance of the waterfront and attractions like Emera Oval Park, Citadel, Museums, and Spring Garden Road. Thank you to everyone at Dalhousie University for making our stay memorable and incredibly comfortable.
Would recommend this hotel.

The location was fantastic, with plenty of landmarks and sites to explore within walking distance. the staff were all friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. the cleanliness of the rooms and the strong WiFi signal were also major pluses. Plus, the fact that there were gender-neutral toilets and shower areas showed a commitment to inclusivity.
One drawback was the size of the room, which was a bit cramped, especially when sitting at the desk. it would have been convenient to have a wash hand basin in the room instead of having to use the shared bathroom facilities.

One drawback was the issue with the keys not properly locking the doors, which could be a security concern. It's important to address this problem to ensure the safety of guests.

The location was convenient, with easy access to downtown and the harbor. The wifi worked perfectly, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I especially appreciated having a sink in my room, which was a practical addition.
Although there were a few drawbacks, such as a lack of amenities in the room and the inconvenience of a closed cafeteria, overall I would recommend this hotel. The cleanliness of the environment and the excellent localization make it a good choice for visitors to Dalhousie.
